Saying that I'm looking forward to Darwyn Cooke's The Hunter adaptation would be a serious understatement. So when I read that he was having a contest over at his
"almost" blog with the contest winners getting a signed hardcover copy of his upcoming graphic novel, I had to give it a go.
Below are the pencils, inks, and colors for my Parker submission.



Don't ask why Parker has an open suitcase full of money going up in flames in a sewer tunnel. I honestly have no clue. The image just came into my head so I ran with it. Sometimes creativity manifests in strange ways. Other times, it involves a suitcase of burning money in the middle of a moisture-filled environment. Dirty moisture, yes. But moisture nonetheless.
